Block telephone. A polished wood box with mouthpiece and seperate earpiece with two core flex connecting them. There are four screw holes in the corners for mounting onto a wall and five lettered screws for connecting wires. Used at Geneva signal box in Darlington.

Block telephone marked '7 Signal'. A polished wood box with a combined bakelite handset and plaited flex connecting handset and box. There are four screw holes in the corners for mounting onto a wall. Drawing pasted inside. Used at Geneva signal box in Darlington.

DARRM:2006.376 Description :
Indicator lamp set marked 'A signal'. Made of black bakelite, it has an amber and a green lenses but no lamps. Used at Geneva signal box in Darlington.

Indicator lamp set marked '9 points'. Made of black bakelite the lenses are marked N and R respectively. Lamps are missing. Used at Geneva signal box in Darlington.

Indicator lamp set marked 'G.I Signal'. Made of black bakelite, there are no lamps inside and either a green or amber lens is missing. Red lense is a convex shape and there are screws down the front and three holes in the back. Used at Geneva signal box in Darlington.

DARRM:2006.380 Description :
Harrison and Son silver pocket watch No. 19141 with key. Sterling silver cased lever fusee pocket watch c.1893 with enamel dial and fine detailed painted image of 'Locomotion No. 1' and is inscribed with 'S and DR No. 1 1825. Harrison and Son Darlington'. Internally the watch is marked with '2 1/2 oz', the AW makers mark, the serial number 19141 and the Chester 1893-94 hallmarks for silver. Cased in a blue box with blue velvet lining and accompanied with a CD of images of the watch.

E.K Master Unit marked '19'. A polished wooden box with a red plastic front and metal base. It has has two 'in' 'out' switches on the front and a push switch which is labelled 'push to show light out'. It has a small red lens at the front. There is a white plastic plaque on the edge of the metal base with the lettering, 'L1 E1 L2 E2 1 2 3 4'. Used at Geneva signal box in Darlington.

British Railways waterproof jacket/mac. It is navy blue with four British Railways buttons, two flap pockets, airholes under the arms, detachable body warmer inside and tweed lining.

DARRM:2006.419 Description :
Body warmer. It is navy blue, quilted with eight buttonholes and one at the back of the neck. Would be buttoned into a jacket or mac.

Navy blue jacket. It has no collar, two slip in pockets, silver zip and black polyester lining.

British Railways dustcoat. It is navy blue with five black British Railways buttons, two slip in pockets, two slits at the back of the coat for ventilation and a cotton hook on the collar for hanging.

British Railways uniform jacket. It is navy blue with four metal British Railways buttons embossed with British Railways logo. It has two slip in pockets and a third smaller pocket on the right hand side, two inside pockets and black cotton lining.

British Railways double breasted overcoat. It is navy blue with eight silver metal British Railway buttons and four buttonholes, two outside pockets with buttons, lapels with British Railway badges on them, chevrons on the sleeves, an inside pocket on the right and black polyester lining.

Ticket dating press. Cast iron, it is painted black with a bronze coloured plaque on top and on the side.

DARRM:2006.428 Description :
London and North Eastern Railway rope style cap badge. It is a silver colour with rope detailing. Clip is loose from back and there is solder on the back from previous repairs.

DARRM:2006.429 Description :
London and North Eastern Railway signal lamp. It painted black with a large square shaped reservoir at the bottom, a square body with four round glass lenses. Inside there is a burner which is attatched to a dial that controls the wick. It has a round handle, flip top lid with chain and a screw cap on the side to fill the reservoir.

DARRM:2006.431 Description :
British Railways brake van tail lamp. It is black, square, has a red convex lens at the front, two clear round lenses at the side, a bracket at the back, a chimney with fluted top, flip top lid with pull back catch, a curved handle and airholes at the bottom. It is missing the reservoir and burner. Unconventional design for a brake van lamp.

St John's Ambulance Association certificate for First Aid awarded to George Boyce in March 1932. It is a faded, discoloured certificate with a red decorative border, the St John's Ambulance Association logo, black and red printed stylised writing and hand written details in black ink. Framed in wooden frame.

St John's Ambulance Association certificate for re-examination of a First Aid award. Given to George Boyce in March 1933. It is a faded, discoloured certificate with a black decorative border, the St John's Ambulance Association logo, black and red printed stylised writing and hand written details in black ink. Framed in a wooden frame.

St John's Ambulance Association medallion awarded to George Boyce in 1932. Medallion number 396705. It is cased in a white box and is a small round medallion with St John's Ambulance cross logo in centre. There are two metal bars attached with the dates 1932 and 1936 inscribed on them and floral pattern around the edges.

DARRM:2006.435 Description :
British Railways mirror in brown wooden frame. It has 'BR' printed under the layer of glass. It has a copper backing and a painted orange back. It has 'British Silvered Glass P.B' and 'copper backed' stamped on the back in black.

DARRM:2006.436.1 Description :
Matchbox cased in a mushroom lightbulb. Matchbox has an image of 'Locomotion' printed on one side and an image of John Walker's Chemist on the other. Model is to acknowledge John Walker's invention of friction matches. The lightbulb is boxed in a Crompton lighting mushroom lightbulb box. There is also a spare box of matches with the same images on it as the one in the lightbulb.
